Women are often doing so much to care for others, let me care for you.
I am a licensed Counseling Psychologist certified in Perinatal Mental Health passionate about supporting women through the physical, emotional, and social changes that occur throughout our reproductive life cycle. Often times we see women struggling with the effects of hormone changes, brain changes, body image changes, and social role and identity changes which can have a downstream effect on relationships, self-esteem, career, and parenting, among other things. My goal is to help you gain a better understanding of how to adapt and cope with these changes, and find yourself as you evolve. I utilize an integrative approach with foundations in Feminist Therapy and Attachment Theory and pull from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which comes together to create a safe and nurturing environment where women can learn to become more flexible in their thinking, accepting of changes, open to new emotional experiences, and living according to their values.

Couple Counseling
____________________________
Whether your relationship once felt like a passionate and safe haven and you are trying to get back to that, or your relationship has always felt really hard, couple counseling can be a meaningful way of shifting the dynamic so that each partner can find healthier and more effective ways of getting their emotional needs met. I practice from an Emotion Focused Couple Therapy lens, which is based on Adult Attachment Theory and Systems Theory. This approach aims to help couples recognize and begin to change their unhelpful attachment strategies, or ways of relating and getting their needs met, to get you unstuck.

If you would like to learn more about how I practice and see if we would be a good fit, you may use the "request appointment" option to request a consultation. My availability calendar should be up-to-date, but there are occasionally changes that are not reflected in time. Please note that a requested appointment needs to be confirmed by me and that there is a small chance that I will need to suggest a different day/time. I look forward to working with you!
